Bambatsi is a family-run guest farm on high ground in mopane savannah between Outjo and Khorixas, used as a stop on the route to Etosha. It has eight bungalows for two to four people, each with private shower and toilet, electricity, mosquito netting and a covered veranda. There are two campsite pitches with braai facilities and an ablution block with hot showers. There is a swimming pool with viewing terraces, and meals are German-Namibian home cooking with cake served in the afternoon. It suits travellers combining Etosha with Twyfelfontein and Vingerklip rather than those wanting a gate-side base.
