What we are

Namibia Travel Guide is an independent, editorially run website of destination guides and practical travel-planning information for Namibia. We publish detailed guides to regions, towns, parks and landmarks, along with broader planning resources covering self-driving, itineraries and trip logistics.

Independent editorial purpose

We are not affiliated with the Namibian government, any tourism board, or any trade body. Our guides reflect independent research and editorial judgement, and our conclusions are not influenced by any commercial relationship.

Types of guides we publish

Our content falls into a few main categories: individual destination guides for towns, parks and landmarks; regional overview hubs that introduce a wider area; and planning guides covering self-driving, itineraries and general trip preparation.

Not an official tourism authority

We are an independent publisher, not an official tourism authority. For current, authoritative information on entry requirements, park regulations or official statistics, always confirm with the relevant Namibian government body or park authority directly.

How we research

Our guides are researched from official regional and municipal sources, conservation and park authorities, heritage and museum bodies, academic and historical material, and reputable transport and mapping sources, supplemented by careful cross-checking rather than a single source.
