Baobab Game Ranch lies north-east of Grootfontein on the Rundu road, described by the operator as halfway between Etosha and Rundu. The ranch has been in the same family since 1903 and is run by the owners. There are four en-suite rooms with private verandas, each with shower, toilet, safe, 220 V power, air conditioning, fan, mini-bar and television. Guests are hosted on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. Facilities include a bar, swimming pool, laundry, internet and parking. Activities are birding around the main house, game viewing at waterholes and on nature drives, a visit to a baobab estimated at around 2,000 years old, and guided walks with local trackers.
