Camp Doros is a tented camp operated by Ultimate Safaris in the 19,000-hectare Doros Joint Management Area of Damaraland. It stands on a high bank overlooking a dry riverbed surrounded by mopane groves in semi-arid mountainous country. There are six en-suite Meru tents on raised platforms, including one family unit, with solar lighting, hot showers and flush toilets. Communal areas comprise a lounge with fireplaces, dining room, bar, campfire deck, plunge pool and a separate Wi-Fi lounge; meals are included in the rate. Black rhino tracking with Save the Rhino Trust rangers is the main activity, alongside nature drives, walks and guided e-biking; children from six years are accepted.
