Cape Cross Lodge stands on the Skeleton Coast beside the Cape Cross seal colony, 60 km north of Henties Bay and 122 km north of Swakopmund on the C34. The lodge has 20 sea-facing en-suite rooms with private balconies, including four wheelchair-accessible rooms, two suites and three family units. A separate self-catering unit, Whalers Cottage, sleeps four and has an indoor braai, open-plan kitchen and en-suite bathroom. On-site facilities include a restaurant, bar, museum and art gallery, and the lodge sells ice, wood, fuel, bread and basic groceries. It suits travellers visiting the seal reserve and self-drive parties on the coastal route north.
