Pioneer Camping is five camping sites laid out along a dry riverbed on the Dusternbrook farm, spaced roughly 50 to 60 metres apart for privacy. Each site has a storage surface and a built braai area. Unlike the farm’s Bush Camping, Pioneer sites have no individual electricity or lighting points. Ablutions are a shared block with two showers, two toilets and two washbasins, with hot water produced by a wood-fired boiler. A shelter with electricity is available on the camp, provided mainly for hikers. Camping is self-catering.
