Forgotten Valley lies in the Orupupa Conservancy roughly 120 km north of Kamanjab, with the turn-off from the C35 some 127 km north of the town and then 18.6 km in; a 4×4 is required. The bookable accommodation is Ekoto Camp, consisting of six fully equipped self-catering chalets. Each chalet has a king-size bed with two duvets plus a seating block with two pull-out single mattresses for a maximum of two children under 12. Each chalet has an en-suite bathroom with shower and a separate toilet, and a kitchenette with refrigerator, gas plates, kettle, utensils and dishes, plus a gas grill on the veranda. The camp has a communal kitchen, a shared grill area, an open fire pit, a swimming pool and covered parking within walking distance. An on-site shop sells braai packs, snacks, coffee, wine, water and ice. There is no Wi-Fi and the property is cash-only. Guided walks are available with pre-booking.
