Huab Lodge stands on the banks of the seasonal Huab River, roughly halfway between Kamanjab and Khorixas, reached via the D2670 gravel road about 30 km off the main route. The lodge has eight stone-and-thatch bungalows for a maximum of sixteen guests, each with two king-size beds. Bathrooms are en-suite with a separate toilet, two hand-wash basins and a shower, and one bungalow is wheelchair-accessible. Accommodation is sold on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis, with meals taken at a shared table with the hosts. The lodge has a swimming pool, a natural thermal spring at 37 to 39 degrees Celsius with an adjacent cool plunge pool, and massage and aromatherapy treatments. Power is 220 V from a solar system available around the clock, ceiling fans are fitted and wireless internet is available. The unfenced property covers 8,000 hectares.
