Kazile Island Lodge occupies a private island in the Kwando River within Bwabwata National Park, reached from a boat station about 11 km along the C49 off the B8 and then a five-minute boat cruise. The lodge has thirteen Meru tented suites set in riverine forest. Each unit has two three-quarter beds, an en-suite bathroom with shower, mosquito nets over the beds and a private wooden deck facing the river and floodplains. Wi-Fi is available in the main area and in the guest rooms. Activities offered are three-hour game drives, bush walks of two to three hours, boat cruises of two-and-a-half to three hours, fishing, sundowners and tours of the operator’s Sijwa Project. The lodge is reached only by boat from the Kazile boat station, and bookings are taken through the operator’s own reservation portal.
