Nambwa Tented Lodge stands in the Kwando core area of Bwabwata National Park on the Kwando River floodplain, reached via the park entrance gate off the C49. The lodge has ten tented suites raised in the treetops, each of 110 square metres with a private lounge and viewing deck. Bathrooms have both a shower and a bath, beds have mosquito nets, and biodegradable toiletries are supplied. Rates are full board; breakfast can be delivered to the private deck and dinner is served on the central deck overlooking the floodplain, with bush dining also offered. Activities are three-hour game drives, bush walks of two to three hours, boat cruises of two-and-a-half to three hours, fishing, sundowners, picnics and tours of the operator’s Sijwa Project. A children’s safari programme is offered for families. The lodge is inside Bwabwata National Park and a park entry permit is required at the gate.
