Norotshama River Resort stands on Plot 14, Aussenkehr Farms, on the north bank of the Orange River in the Aussenkehr grape valley. The resort has thirty-six air-conditioned units: two executive suites for two, four classic thatched chalets for two, six thatched family chalets for four with braai facilities, ten river-edge chalets for two positioned over the water, four luxury lakeview suites for two and ten standard lakeview rooms for two. Camping sites taking up to six people per site are also offered. All suites are air-conditioned and hairdryers are provided. There is a swimming pool, an a la carte restaurant and a licensed bar, plus conference and function space. Listed activities are river rafting and canoeing, fishing and fly fishing, birdwatching, hiking and mountain biking, 4×4 routes and guided tours, sport climbing, cultural village visits and historical sites. Check-in is at 14:00 and check-out at 10:00.
