Leadwood is one of two campsites on the private Onguma Nature Reserve, 13 km from Etosha’s Von Lindequist Gate. It has six private shaded campsites that can be booked individually or taken exclusively as a whole. Each site has its own shower and toilet and a power point, with a shared wash-up area and daily servicing. Campers are self-catering, but meals can be booked in advance at the restaurant at Onguma Bush Camp, which is within walking distance. It suits self-drive and family camping parties wanting private ablutions close to the eastern gate.
