Orange River Lodge stands on Plot 467 at Noordoewer, on the north bank of the Orange River approximately 1 km from the Noordoewer border post and near the BP filling station on the B1. The lodge publishes four double rooms and three family rooms sleeping four persons each, all en-suite and equipped for self-catering. All units have air conditioning, television and tea and coffee facilities. A thatched lapa restaurant serves a la carte meals and there is a bar. Fishing is offered with tackle available for hire, targeting carp, catfish and yellowfish, and canoes can be rented for day trips on the river. The lodge lists visits to Nama Rebellion battlefields and German colonial graves as historical excursions, and it borders the Ai-Ais-Richtersveld Transfrontier Conservation Park.
