Quivertree Forest Rest Camp is on Farm Gariganus, 13 km north-east of Keetmanshoop on the M29. The camp has two guest houses with several double rooms in twin or double configuration, eight igloo-shaped bungalows sleeping three each, and one family room with one double and three single beds, plus several campsites. Units have a fully fitted kitchen, a minibar, a private bathroom and air conditioning. Campsites have electricity points, braai facilities and ablution blocks with hot water. There is a swimming pool and communal relaxation areas. There is no public restaurant, and meals are served only to half-board guests. The quiver tree forest is on the property and the Giants Playground dolerite formations are reached by a walking trail; night photography and stargazing sessions are arranged on request. The farm has been run by the same family since 1990 and reservations are taken directly.
