Roy’s Rest Camp lies about 55 km north-east of Grootfontein directly on the B8 towards Rundu, on the 2,800-hectare farm Elandslaagte. Accommodation is in rustic bungalows, alongside seventeen camping sites set on green lawns under large shade trees. The camping area has a laundry, a bush kitchen and wheelchair-accessible pitches. Cooking is farm-style, and dinner for bed-and-breakfast guests must be pre-booked before 16:00 on the day of arrival. There is swimming on the property. Activities offered are San village visits, bush walks and birding. Pets are not accepted. The camp is positioned as a stopover on the route between the Waterberg, Etosha and the Kavango and Zambezi regions, and is registered with the Hospitality Association of Namibia.
