Vreugde is a small family-run working guest farm south of Etosha’s Andersson Gate, about 30 minutes’ drive from the park. It has seven rooms: six twin rooms and one four-bed family room, each opening onto a large shaded garden. Meals are Namibian farm cooking served family-style, with dinners taken around a campfire. The property is owner-managed and has no restaurant open to passing trade. It suits self-drive travellers wanting a farm stay rather than a lodge close to the southern gate.
