Zebra River Lodge lies on a 12,600-hectare private farm in the Tsaris Mountains above the Tsauchab valley, reached off the D850 east of Sesriem. It has 16 rooms in total: 7 standard rooms, 5 rock chalets, 4 family rooms and a honeymoon suite. There are also 4 standard campsites and a wild campsite at Kudu Spring 7 km from the lodge. A waterhole beside the lodge terraces draws game, and the farm has nine marked hiking trails. Activities include hiking, mountain biking, birding, fossil and geology walks and 4×4 driving, which suits guests using the valley as a Sossusvlei base with a day or two to spare.
