Gross Okandjou is a working cattle and horse farm about 30 km north-west of Omaruru that takes guests, on the northern side of the Erongo Mountains. It has six rustic guest rooms grouped around the farmhouse, with a terrace and shared communal areas. The farm breeds and trains horses and specialises in Western-style riding, offering rides of varying length across the savannah. Multi-day riding trips are run, including a trail through the Erongo range. Game viewing excursions and hunting are also offered, so it suits riders and guests wanting a working-farm stay rather than a lodge.
