Hoada Campsite & Tented Camp lies among granite boulders and mopane trees in the #Khoadi-//Hoas Conservancy on the C40 in the Grootberg area, and is run by Journeys Namibia alongside Grootberg Lodge. There are eight campsites: six take up to eight people and two are laid out for groups of up to 14. Each site has a kitchen area with wash basin and running water, an outdoor shower with hot water from a donkey boiler and a flushing toilet. Four permanent furnished tents with beds, bedding and private ablutions are also available, and there is a bar and a small pool built into the rocks. Camping is self-catering with braai areas at each site; guided activities include full-day rhino tracking, self-guided walking trails and a Damara farmlife experience.
