NamibRand Family Hideout is a self-catering property in the south of the NamibRand Nature Reserve, roughly two hours’ drive south of Sesriem. It comprises one farmhouse sleeping up to 10 people in 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, and three private campsites named Orion, Venus and Jupiter, each for up to 8 guests. The farmhouse has a fully equipped kitchen with a gas fridge, oven and deep freezer, verandas and an indoor fireplace. Campsites have flush toilets, solar-heated showers, shade structures, braai areas and private waterholes; the Jupiter site is wheelchair accessible. There is no restaurant, so all guests self-cater; a waterhole 50 m from the farmhouse veranda is used for game viewing.
