Okaukuejo is the Namibia Wildlife Resorts rest camp at Etosha’s southern administrative centre, 17 km inside the Andersson Gate. Accommodation runs from waterhole and bush chalets and double rooms to family and disabled-access chalets, plus 37 campsites taking up to eight people each. Facilities include a restaurant, bar, kiosk, shop, swimming pool, filling station and a small conference room. Its floodlit waterhole beside the perimeter fence is the camp’s main draw and is watched day and night. Meals are available in the restaurant and self-catering is possible in the family chalets and on the campsites.
