Ombalantu Baobab Tree Heritage Centre & Campsite lies on the M123 towards Tsandi in Outapi, the capital of the Omusati Region, with the campsite inside the heritage-centre grounds around the hollow baobab. There are four campsites. Ablutions comprise four showers and four flush toilets. Power points are provided at the sites and drinking water is available. There is a craft shop and a kiosk on site, and a coffee shop operates from a renovated colonial-era building in the grounds. The hollow baobab is about 28 m tall with a circumference of about 26.5 m, and its interior holds roughly thirty-five people. The operator notes that mobile reception on site is intermittent.
