Puros Community Camp lies in the Puros Conservancy on the Hoarusib River a few kilometres upstream of Puros village, adjoining Puros Bush Lodge. The camp has five private campsites set under large camel thorn trees, sold separately from the lodge chalets and priced per site. Sites are spacious enough to take large groups and are positioned apart from one another for privacy. Each site has a water point, a basin and a braai area, and its own warm-water shower and flushing toilet. Campers may use the lapa and dining area with bar facilities at the adjoining bush lodge. Check-in is after 14:00 and check-out before 10:00. Local guides from the Himba community offer village walks, cultural tours and excursions into the surrounding riverbeds, and bookings are handled by email through the operator.
