Waterberg Andersson Camp lies on the valley slope further up from the Waterberg Wilderness main reception, in the Waterberg private nature reserve east of Otjiwarongo. The camp has four pitches nestled under trees on the valley slope, higher up than the reserve’s Plateau Campsite. Each pitch has its own shower and toilet in the central ablution block, plus a shade roof, a bench and table, a barbecue facility and a water tap. There are no plugs at the pitches or in the bathrooms, with bathroom lighting only and central supply points available. Guests have use of the swimming pool and the Kalahari viewpoint, and firewood is sold at reception. Stays are self-catering, with free wireless internet in the Waterberg Valley Lodge restaurant next to the central reception. A maximum of one family per pitch applies, and the camp is priced and booked separately from the reserve’s other campsite.
