Wilderness Desert Rhino Camp is a tented camp set in a wide valley inside the Palmwag Concession, reached from the C43 north of the Palmwag veterinary gate. The camp has eight units in total: six canvas and stone suites plus a family unit, each with a star bed or stargazing deck. Shared facilities include a swimming pool, Wi-Fi, communal dining and a campfire area, with power from a photovoltaic solar system. Rates are fully inclusive of meals and activities; the signature activity is tracking black rhino on foot with Save the Rhino Trust monitors. It suits guests booking a guided, all-inclusive stay focused on desert-adapted rhino and wildlife rather than self-drive campers.
