Duwisib Castle is state-run accommodation at the Duwisib Castle national monument, the sandstone castle built in the early 1900s by the German officer Baron von Wolf, south-west of Maltahohe. Accommodation is five rooms available on double occupancy plus ten campsites. Facilities are a restaurant, an underground bar, a tourist shop and picnic sites. The castle itself operates as a museum housing a collection of eighteenth and nineteenth century antiques, armour and paintings. The site is positioned as a stopover for travellers routing through southern Namibia.
