Ibenstein Guest Farm lies about 95 km south-east of Windhoek on the Kalahari fringe in the Dordabis district, roughly an hour’s drive from the capital. There are four modern detached chalets, each en-suite and each facing an illuminated waterhole. Guest areas include a swimming pool, a whisky lounge, a small library and a courtyard used for evening gatherings, alongside the waterhole viewing area. Meals span breakfast, lunch and packed picnic meals, with traditional Namibian dinners and braai evenings served with local beverages; rates are quoted on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. Activities are sunrise and sunset game drives, guided nature walks through savanna and mountain terrain, and birdwatching against roughly 300 recorded species on the property.
