Puros Bush Lodge lies within the Puros Conservancy a few kilometres upstream of Puros village, beside the Hoarusib River under large camel thorn trees. The lodge offers six chalets and one family unit, all on a self-catering basis. Chalets have two single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a warm-water shower, shaded parking and their own braai facility. The family unit has one double bed, a bunk bed sleeping two children, a reading corner and an en-suite bathroom, and takes a maximum of two adults, two children up to twelve and one infant. All units have solar-heated warm water and limited 220V electricity sufficient for lights and for charging phones, cameras and a small camping fridge, with a secure charging station in the manager’s office. There is a lapa and dining area with bar facilities and communal braai facilities. Check-in is after 14:00 and check-out before 10:00; children aged 0 to 5 stay free of charge and children 6 to 11 pay a reduced rate with a mattress or camp bed provided.
