Kulala Desert Lodge stands on the private Kulala Wilderness Reserve on the boundary of the Namib-Naukluft National Park. The reserve has its own private gate into the park, which is closer to the dunes than the public Sesriem entrance. There are 21 canvas-and-thatch rooms, including two family units, with flat rooftops used for sleep-outs. Facilities include a swimming pool, a main living area with a wraparound veranda, a safari store and Wi-Fi. Rates are fully inclusive of meals, twice-daily activities, park fees, laundry and local drinks.
