Wilderness Serra Cafema stands in Hartmann’s Valley on the south bank of the Kunene River in the far north-western Kunene Region, with fly-in access only via Wilderness Air. The camp has eight suites built of wood, canvas and thatch on elevated decks, one of which is a family unit. Each suite has an en-suite bathroom and a private elevated deck over the Kunene River. Rates are fully inclusive and cover accommodation, all meals, twice-daily camp activities, park fees, laundry and local drinks except premium imported brands and champagne. Camp facilities include a swimming pool and Wi-Fi. The cuisine programme includes traditional Herero dishes with a village experience, riverside breakfasts on the Kunene and in-room African tapas tasting plates. Activities are nature drives in open vehicles and guided walks in Hartmann’s Valley, guided quad-bike excursions, boating on the Kunene and visits to Himba communities.
