Ai-Ais Hotsprings Spa Campsite is the camping area within the Namibia Wildlife Resorts property at Ai-Ais, at the southern end of the Fish River Canyon in the Ai-Ais-Richtersveld Transfrontier Park. The operator lists one hundred camping sites with capacity to take more, at a maximum of eight people per site. Camping is sold as its own rate category with no meals included and is priced identically in low and high season. Campers have access to the resort’s indoor and outdoor swimming pools, restaurant, kiosk, curio shop, spa, laundry and filling station. The published resort activities of guided nature drives, guided nature walks, walking trails, bird watching and mountain climbing are available to campers. The Fish River Canyon Trail runs from 1 May to 15 September and starts from the Hobas side, with a shuttle service operating between Ai-Ais and Hobas. Campsite bookings are not handled by third-party agents and must be made directly with Namibia Wildlife Resorts.
