Waterberg Valley Lodge stands on a hill in a valley of the Waterberg range within the Waterberg Wilderness private nature reserve, next to the central reception, east of Otjiwarongo. The lodge offers nine double-room chalets with canvas walls, an en-suite brick bathroom with shower and toilet, and a small balcony. Power is 220 V solar suitable for hairdryers, shavers and battery chargers. The restaurant serves a set dinner menu and has a bar and fireplace, and there is a swimming pool. Free wireless internet with limited bandwidth is available in the restaurant. Laundry service requires a minimum two-night stay. Rates are quoted per person on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis with coffee and cake included, and guests receive a discount on activities for stays of two nights or more. Check-in is from 14:00, the gate closes at 19:00 and rooms must be vacated by 10:00; a 4×4 is recommended in the rainy season and day visitors are not admitted.
