Camp Hogo sits on the Okavango just outside Rundu, with the river and the Angolan bank in front of it. It is a smaller, simpler operation than the larger river lodges further west, and it suits travellers who want the river setting without the lodge price. Rundu is the practical resupply point for the whole Kavango — fuel, banking and a proper supermarket — so being close to town rather than an hour out of it has real value on a long north-eastern route.
