Chobe River Camp stands 4 km from the Ngoma border post on the B8 in the Zambezi Region. The camp has twenty tented chalets: fifteen twin rooms for two people and five family rooms for four. Each chalet has an en-suite bathroom with shower, air conditioning and a private deck facing the river. Units are solar powered, with charging available at reception. Rates are on a bed-and-breakfast basis and there is a restaurant and bar on site, plus a cold-water swimming pool, and Wi-Fi is available in the main lodge reception area. Activities are morning, afternoon, sunset and full-day boat cruises, Canadian canoeing, birding drives, guided walking trails, Mali Village visits, Victoria Falls excursions and day trips into Chobe National Park. In the rainy season the access road is passable only by 4×4, and non-4×4 vehicles are parked at Ngoma Police Station with a transfer provided. Children under five stay free and children aged 6 to 13 pay 50 per cent of the bed-and-breakfast rate.
