Chobe River Campsite lies 4 km from the Ngoma border post on the B8 in the Zambezi Region. The campsite has four sites, each with its own private ablution facilities. Hot water is heated by fire and each site has a braai, and there are no power points at the campsites. Campers may use the restaurant and the cold-water swimming pool at the adjacent Chobe River Camp. Bookable activities are morning, afternoon, sunset and full-day boat cruises, Canadian canoeing, birding drives, guided walking trails, Mali Village visits, Victoria Falls excursions and Chobe National Park day trips. The access road requires a 4×4 in the rainy season, and non-4×4 vehicles park at Ngoma Police Station with luggage transferred. Children under five stay free, children aged 6 to 13 pay 50 per cent and guests from 13 pay adult rates. It is sold and priced separately from Chobe River Camp.
