Epacha Game Lodge sits on its own private reserve in the hills west of the southern Etosha approach, and is one of the more elaborate properties in the area. The setting is hilly rather than flat, with views over the surrounding valley, and the reserve carries its own game. Like others on this side, it involves a longer morning drive to the Andersson gate than the lodges immediately south of the park, which makes it better suited to travellers spending two or three nights in the area than to a single overnight.
