Fish River Lodge lies on the D463 gravel road near Ariamab, on the western rim of the canyon within the 45,000-hectare Canyon Nature Park. The approach roads are gravel and can be affected by rain, so a high-clearance or 4×4 vehicle is recommended. The lodge also has its own airfield and can arrange transfers on request.
