Ombo Rest Camp is a roadside rest camp on the B1 immediately north of Okahandja, combining bungalows with camping and caravan sites. Four bungalows are published, each with a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, and towels and linen supplied. Camp facilities include air conditioning, on-site parking, warm showers, power points at sites, a family restaurant, a farm shop and a souvenir shop, and braai areas. The camp has a waterhole used for game viewing at sunset. Ostrich and crocodile tours are offered on the property.
