Aloegrove Safari Lodge lies north of Otjiwarongo in the bushveld country between the town and the Waterberg, well off the main road. The position is its main asset: quiet farm-and-bush surroundings with rocky outcrops, and enough distance from the B1 that road noise is not a factor. It works well as a staging point for travellers heading north towards Etosha who would rather break the drive somewhere with space around them than in town. Expect a comfortable mid-range lodge with a farm-lodge character rather than a large safari operation.
