Kifaru Bush Camp is a small camp on the Outjo side of the Etosha approach, aimed at travellers who would rather sleep under canvas or in a simple chalet than in a hotel room. Outjo is roughly an hour and a half from Andersson Gate, so an early start from here puts you at the gate near opening. The camp is modest in scale, which is part of the appeal: it is quiet, it is cheap by Namibian lodge standards, and it does not pretend to be a safari lodge.
