Palmwag Campsite is the separately bookable camping ground of the Gondwana Collection’s Palmwag property, a few kilometres north of the C43/C49 junction beside the Uniab River. There are 18 campsites, most set along the riverbed, each taking up to six people with a power point, light, wash basin, fireplace and private ablutions. Shared ablutions with hot and cold water and braai facilities are also provided, and an airstrip lies about 1 km away. Campers may use the adjoining lodge’s restaurant, bar, curio shop and two cold-water swimming pools, and can buy ice, firewood and braai packs. It suits self-drive travellers using Palmwag as the entry point to the Palmwag Concession and the C43 route north.
