We Kebi Safari Lodge lies south-east of Sesriem towards Maltahoehe, well away from the concentration of properties along the main Sossusvlei approach. That distance is the point for some travellers and a drawback for others: the surroundings are genuinely empty, but the drive to the park gate is long enough that this works better as a night either side of the dunes than as a sunrise base. It is a sensible stop for anyone routing between Sossusvlei and the south, or coming up from the Fish River Canyon direction rather than down from Windhoek.
