Dornhugel Guestfarm is a working guest farm on Farm Dornhugel No. 241 near Grootfontein, about two hours from the Etosha pan and en route to Bushmanland and the Zambezi. The farm offers single, double and family rooms. Rooms have free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, mosquito nets and a television service. There is a swimming pool in a garden area. Meals are farm-based and include home-made jams and juices, home-grown vegetables and steaks grilled over a wood fire. Activities include game drives, farm tours, waterhole visits and the option to take part in farm work; the farm runs its own cattle breeding and there is a hiking trail that can be walked or cycled. Children are welcome and there is a playground with sand, swings and a trampoline. It is one of the older established guest farms in the Grootfontein district.
