Ichingo Chobe River Lodge has eight Meru-style safari tents set in riverside forest beside the Impalila rapids, each air-conditioned with a private balcony over the river. Facilities are a swimming pool, a main-area deck with river views, and a river-facing restaurant and bar. The lodge is sold all-inclusive, covering meals, snacks and drinks with the exception of spirits. Its defining arrangement is that each tent is allocated a dedicated tender boat and personal guide, so activities run to guests’ own timing rather than a fixed schedule: tigerfish angling, birding across an area holding more than 450 recorded species, photographic safaris and boat-based game viewing.
