Understanding Our Estimated Price Guide
Where shown, the price on a property page is an editorial estimate, not a live quote: a rounded nightly range for the property’s lowest standard double or twin room, based on two adults sharing for one night at a publicly available, non-member rate. It is reviewed roughly every six months and shows the date it was last checked. Actual rates vary by exact dates, room type, occupancy, meal plan and availability, so always confirm the current total before you book. Where a defensible range can’t currently be established, the page shows “Price varies – check current rates” instead of a number.

Booking Guidance
Book well ahead for the July to October dry season, when lodges near Etosha and Sossusvlei fill up first. Favour a free-cancellation rate while your route is still flexible, and check the drive time to your next stop before committing to a check-in time. Each property page includes a booking link for checking current rates, room availability and cancellation terms; Namibia Travel Guide does not set prices, manage bookings or guarantee availability.
If your route includes an overnight stay inside a national park itself, such as one of Etosha’s rest camps, check current rates and availability directly with Namibia Wildlife Resorts, the government body that runs official in-park accommodation.
Affiliate Disclosure
Namibia Travel Guide may earn a commission when you use an accommodation booking link, at no extra cost to you. This does not affect which properties are listed or how they are described. Read the full affiliate disclosure.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do prices shown here match what I’ll pay when booking?
They’re a rounded estimate for a standard room on a typical date, meant to help with budgeting rather than to quote an exact rate. Your dates, room choice and any promotions will change the final price, so always confirm the total before paying.
How do I find accommodation near a specific national park or town?
Use the destination or region lists above, or search the Finder by town or park name. Each destination archive explains how to choose between the available properties.
Does Namibia Travel Guide handle my booking or payment?
No. Every listing includes a booking link for checking availability, payment and cancellation terms. We may earn a commission on qualifying reservations at no extra cost to you.
Why isn’t every Namibian town listed yet?
This directory only includes destinations with at least one verified, published property. Coverage is expanding, so check back if your destination isn’t listed yet.
